Three performances of Scottish Dance Theatre’s “What on Earth!?” in May and “Roll Up! Roll Up!”, a major celebration of circus will run at The Ark throughout July and August.

Fidget Feet – ‘The Circus of Lir’ and research and development on new show
Galway Community Circus is continuing its successful collaboration with Fidget Feet for this contemporary circus spectacle; and Fidget Feet completed the first phase of research and development on its new show for young people, based around the Rumplestilskin fairytale
Theatre Lovett – The House that Jack Filled, 2012-2013 Residency, USA Tour and Collaboration with IMMA
‘The House that Jack Filled’ closes up shop until the next holiday season, 2013 will see the development and production of two new Theatre Lovett productions for young audiences and Theatre Lovett continues it’s collaboration with IMMA.

Moonkeyshine – ‘The Selfish Giant’ and Arts Council Bursary
Monkeyshine produced an adaptation of ‘The Selfish Giant’ by Oscar Wilde, for the Unwrapped project in Tallaght; and Kareen Pennefather, Monkeyshines Artistic Director has been awarded a bursary from the arts council.
Helium Children’s Arts and Health launches two new projects
Cloudlands, Helium’s latest Artist in Residence project, commenced at the end of November in Temple Street Children’s University Hospital, Dublin; OAK, the Online Arts Dock, a private web-space where teenagers living with health conditions can interact, share stories, artwork, films and music, and develop online arts projects.

A review of 2012, a look at tours in 2013, a co-production with Denmark’s Teater Refleksion, Seóanna Satharn/Saturday Shows project up and running and a new premises for Branar.
The Ark – Punchdrunk Enrichment, Zoe’s Play, Theatre Workshops, & Clann Lir
Punchdrunk Enrichment will deliver a professional development workshop for theatre practitioners and a professional development workshop for primary school; In March, The Ark will present a new production of Zoe’s Play; Actor, playwright and director Niamh McGrath will lead active workshops for school groups and family audiences and in April The Ark will host a week-long run of Branar’s Clann Lir.
