CALL FOR 1ST ASSITEJ INTERNATIONAL MEETING IN OKINAWA

ASSITEJ invites centres to the 1st ASSITEJ International Meeting, the artistic meeting of ASSITEJ world, which will take place at the Kijimuna Festa in Okinawa City, JAPAN, from the 28th July to 5th August 2012.
Representatives from all over the world will meet in Okinawa to exchange experiences and discuss theatre for children and young people under the title “Theatre: Nuchigusui” (* Nuchigusui – ‘healer of life’ in Okinawan dialect)

The ASSITEJ International Meeting is a place to establish practical and creative
relationships between participants, and the program will include collaborative
productions, post-show discussions, special symposiums, seminars and workshops.

ASSITEJ invites all the members to participate in the General Meeting scheduled on the 29th July (14.00-18.00) and 30th July (10.00-14.00) where we will inform about the current ASSITEJ Projects and discuss about the future ones, share news and opinions since last Congress held in Copenhagen and Malmoe in May 2011, establish new contacts and initiate the international artistic exchange. During these General Meetings we shall give all the information on the procedures, agendas, programs and events that will take place during the Festival. Further information and registration form:
